Nokia got some interesting response when they launched Nokia 6 back in October 2016 in China. After that, we saw series of smartphones from Manufacturer like the Flagship Nokia 8, Mid-Ranger 6 and budget smartphone 5 & 3. Now the newest member of Nokia’s Android smartphone family 7 is here to fill the gap left between 8 and 6.
The device has a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 on top, a Snapdragon 630 processor, a 3000mAh battery, and support for expanded storage over microSD. It’ll be available in two models, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and another with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Carl Zeiss makes comeback with a 16 MP unit with f/1.8 aperture, 1.12um pixels, and a dual-tone LED flash. At the front, you have a 5 MP f/2.0 snapper with larger 1.4um pixels and an 84-degree field-of-view.
The Handset runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat (with an Oreo update promised) and it comes with IP54 certification, a rear Fingerprint Sensor and Nokia OZO audio is built-in for recording immersive sound too.
The new smartphone will be offered in Gloss Black and Matt White. It will be available in China on October 24 for CNY 2,499 (that’s around Rs.25K) with 4GB of RAM, and CNY 2,699 (Rs.27K) with 6GB. There’s no indication yet of when or whether it’ll launch in other markets like India and others.
